Bike Builders of Berkeley
Problem Overview
Poor project showcasing limits recognition, while weak storytelling dulls our collaborative identity.
Research Methods — User Interviews & Personas
Our team interviewed the club's leads to understand their goals and vision for the website. They envisioned an open aesthetic blending urban similar to brands like North Face and Knog while highlighting team members and their achievements.
We crafted targeted questions for user interviews to capture qualitative and quantitative insight.
Final Design
We designed 5 pages such as the home page, contact, and project showcase. We focused on articulating the club's inclusive nature, mission, and community vibe. Developing a system of coherent design, and a simple layout ensured it was straightforward for new members to figure out how they could plug in. We designed a combined project display for all past and future builds, turning what members had engineered and worked on together into a place of inspiration.
